Happenings at Guitar House workshop

2024 marks the return of “Feed The People, Feed The Soul”, a Guitar House Workshop sponsored concert benefitting the work of SSCM Food Pantry. An all volunteer 501c3 organization, SSCM provides a three day emergency supply of groceries to central Ohio families in need. Guitar House Workshop has proudly supported SSCM’s work in a multitude of ways for over a decade including benefit events, proceeds from customer donated instrument sales, monetary donations from customers and the shop, and a GHW team of workers who help unload a delivery truck each month.

This year’s concert, previously scheduled for Friday May 17th, 2024, was moved to Sunday May 19th due to a rainy weather forcast. The concert will feature John Bolzenius and his Columbus Soul and Salvage bandmates Justin Molenaur, Bernard Wilburn, Aaron Minnick, Kevin Cardoso, Rick Carleski, and David Leytze. Our pavilion, built with the help of our customers, is our outdoor classroom and on rare occasions (like this one) doubles as a performance space. Bring lawn chairs or a blanket and find yourself the perfect spot to groove in your seat or dance the the night away. This is a FUN night for adults and also family friendly for kiddos.

The shop is hosting a simple picnic from 4-5 and Columbus Soul and Salvage will be playing classic R&B soul songs for your enjoyment from 5-7. We’ll pass a hat a few times during the concert, when you can donate what feels right to you. The band is hot, the company will be good, and the cause is grand- three fine reasons to join us at the pavilion SUNDAY, May 19th.

Each $1 placed in the hat allows SSCM to purchase just under $6 worth of groceries from the MidOhio Food Bank. And every dollar donated at the concert will be used to help families in need. SCCM is an all-volunteer organization that has been serving the community since the 1970s.

JOIN US FOR A FINE NIGHT OF FUN AND AN EVEN FINER CAUSE.

ALWAYS A GOOD TIME AT GUITAR HOUSE WORKSHOP!

Guitar House Workshop’s Garden

MAY, 2024 UPDATE: The peach tree and cherry tree weathered our Spring frosts just fine. Both are setting fruit, along with our baby apple trees, raspberry bushes and strawberries. The vegetable garden is just beginning to take shape. And this year we will be installing a bit of garden art just for fun. Come sit a bit under the grapes and see what Mother Nature is offering up for us this season!

THANKS TO ALL who participated in the 2022 Student Recital/Picnic

Sorry- we lost the photos! They must have melted.

Whatever it is, the way you tell your story online can make all the difference.

A little grass to grow but the pavilion is just about ready for jam classes and picnics. Thanks to all the folks who helped us raise these rafters!
