Born and raised in Columbus, Ohio, Taylor DeVault specializes in guitar performance and education. A 2012 OSU graduate in Psychology with secondary studies in Jazz guitar performance, Taylor’s experience stretches across several genres including classical, rock, jazz, and country. Mr. DeVault’s first love is the blues, drawing inspiration from delta players like Robert Johnson and Son House as well as electric blues musicians SRV, Albert King, BB King and Freddie King. Taylor is delighted to share the joy of guitar with students of all ages and abilities from beginner to seasoned players. Ever the student himself, Taylor enjoys exploring the theoretical, technical, rhythmic and harmonic complexities of making music with those he teaches.

In addition to music clubs in and around Central Ohio, Mr. DeVault can be seen performing weekly with the Common Grace Band at First Community Church, Columbus.
