Linda Langhorst, a long time student of Master Banjo Instructor Gary Puckett, teaches Beginning Banjo to help local Bluegrass wanna-bees get started playing the very best instrument on the planet. On rare occasions Elvis the black and white puppy assists. Langhorst grew up playing piano, began playing banjo at 50, and is living proof that you can teach an old dog a few new tricks. Linda is also coordinator of the lesson program at the shop.

HOME GROWN BANJO BOOK is a collection of terrific Banjo Tab arranged by Gary Puckett and illustrated by Linda. It’s an eclectic mixed media celebration of music and community centered around Guitar House Workshop’s garden, pavilion and musical jam class program. The book is available through the shop and online. It’s a great resource for Blue Grass students looking to join the fun of playing music with others.
